Digital Health and Care Congress 2019

The King’s Fund 2019 Digital Health and Care Congress took place in London last week. This annual event gathers medical and social care professionals (including NHS staff, researchers, industry, and charities) to discuss how data and technology can improve the health and wellbeing of patients and the quality and efficiency of services. We were pleased to see a significant focus on patient involvement and engagement throughout the discussions, with patient representatives participating in multiple panel sessions. We concentrated on learning about new digital tools, innovations, and standards to help develop our patient-led research projects.
