UK Clinical Research Collaboration: request for public involvement/engagement resources
The PLRH represents the Cambridge Clinical Trials Unit on the UKCRC Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPI&E) Task and Finish Group. The Group is now moving forward with recommendations set in its 2018 report, and is aiming to create a central PPI&E repository for Registered CTUs. Many CTUs create their own resources and training plans, which is inefficient and leads to duplication of effort. Through the new repository, CTUs will be able to share documents and examples of best practice which should improve efficiency and effectiveness of PPI&E.
